The Everon Vega GPS Bracelet is the newest GPS personal location device available today solely through Location Based GPS and LifePROTEKT.  These devices are wearable tamper proof, water proof, and lockable security solutions that include RF/GPS/Cellular technology.  They also offer features such as 2-Way voice, SMS, and optional 24/7   5 Diamond Monitoring Call Center capability if required. 

The Everon Vega is targeted towards individuals that want to have the felxibility and freedom to live independently.  It is also aimed at the assisted living facility, critical care, and special needs homes and lone worker environments.  This product is unique for individuals with Alzheimer’s, autism, brain trauma injury, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, and other cognitive impairments as the enhanced features include unlimited indoor/outdoor safe zone settings using Assisted GPS (A-GPS), and RF technology.  Assisted GPS technology is a system which can, under certain condidtions, improve the start-up performance, or time-to-first-fix (TTFF) of a GPS satellite based positioning system.  It is used extensively with GPS capable cellular phones as its development was accelerated by the U.S. FCC's 911 mandate making the location of a cell phone available to emergency call dispatchers. 

The Everon Vega offers the best possible level of protection to wearers, and reassurance to family, administrators, facilitators, and caregivers.  Vega is designed to provide specific information about the user’s whereabouts, should they move outside a pre-determined safety zone. In such situations, GPS and GSM technologies will locate them, and send an alert to a Response Center which can then take appropriate action to prevent the user from coming to harm. An individual in distress outside the home can also press the emergency button to call for help. This will put them in contact with the Response Center as the Vega has two-way speech capabilities, allowing them to speak with someone until help arrives.
